Privacy Policy
Last updated: 05/10/2026
This policy explains what personal information Your Itineraries ("we", "us") collects through YourItineraries, why, and what your rights are. For the information described in "Our customers and website visitors" we are the data controller.
Our customers and website visitors
We collect:
- Account details - your name, email address, business name and password (stored in a protected form).
- Demo requests - the name, email, company and message you send us, and your IP address, used to prevent abuse.
- Billing details - handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Usage records - sign-in times and basic technical logs, used to keep the service secure and working.
We use this information to provide the service, to bill you, to reply to you and to keep the service secure. Our legal bases are our contract with you and our legitimate interest in running and protecting the service.
Information our customers put into the service
Tour operators using YourItineraries enter details of their own clients, such as a name, email address, phone number and travel plans. For that information the tour operator is the data controller and we act as their processor: we store it and display it only as they direct. If you are a traveller and have a question about your information, please contact the company that sent you your itinerary.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the service needs to work: one to keep you signed in to the admin area, and one that remembers you have entered the PIN for a shared itinerary (kept for 7 days). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Who we share information with
- Stripe - to take payments.
- Krystal.io - which hosts the service, in the United Kingdom.
- Google Fonts and OpenStreetMap - itinerary pages load fonts and map tiles from these services, which means they receive your IP address.
- YouTube or Vimeo - only when an itinerary includes a video.
We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
- Account and itinerary content: while the account is open, and for 30 days after it closes.
- Demo requests: 12 months.
- Billing records: as long as tax law requires, normally 6 years.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email admin@youritineraries.com and we will reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
